CHARLIE SMITH
It is with the deepest regret that we must announce the death of Charlie Smith (Staff 1946-2007) on 6 March 2010 at the age of 80.
Charlie was popular with generations of Edmundians throughout his long career at the College of almost 62 years.

Funeral Arrangements
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the College on Monday 22 March 2010 at 1.45pm followed by interment. Following the service a reception will be held in the College grounds.
On Saturday 15 May 2010 at 11.00am there will be a Memorial Service and reception at the College.

Memorial Fund & Book of Condolences
In due course a fund will be set up for those who would like to contribute towards a fitting memorial to Charlie.

This year's Dinner was more than just a reunion, which is why we chose the ballroom at The Lansdowne Club as our venue, to give Edmundians of all generations the opportunity to get together and celebrate John Vaughan Shaw's forty-five year teaching career at St Edmund's. Over 100 Edmundians attended the event, the largest for a London gathering for many years. To mark his outstanding service to the College, John was bestowed with Patronage of the Association. Photographs will follow shortly.
