London Buffet Lunch 2008
This is a new venture and is an opportunity to bring together Edmundians of all ages for a buffet meal at a central location. The Annual Buffet Lunch will be held at the Park Inn in central London on Saturday 13th September 2008 at noon for 12.30pm (until 5.00 pm).
Tickets for Enhanced* Members of the Association (and first guest) are £25 each. Tickets for Standard* Members are £28 each.

 Alex Roberts
We regret to advise that Alex Roberts (St Hugh's & Challoner 1954-61) died suddenly on 10 July 2008 at the age of 63. His greatest contribution to the Association was his donation of nearly 3,000 photographs that he took at events since 1990. May he rest in peace.

Mark Hlavaty
Mark Hlavaty (Junior House & Poynter 1968-74) died suddenly at home on 10 July 2008 aged 51 years. The Requiem Mass was at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Ware, on Wednesday 23 July. May he rest in peace.

Mr Duncan Gallie
 After 20 years as Housemaster of Challoner, Mr Duncan Gallie stands down this summer. Enhanced members may click here to look at some photographs taken during his period in office. He remains as Head of Boarding, Head of Religious Education, College Archivist and Custodian of the College Museum.The next Housemaster of Challoner will be Mr Jason Hounsell.

New Honorary Members
   
In recognition of their long service to the College, the Association has awarded Honorary Membership to (from left to right) Mrs Theresa King, Mrs Lynne Blackburn, Mrs Beate Howitt and Mrs Elizabeth Brooks, who are all leaving the College this summer. We wish them all every happiness in the future.

Recent deaths
 Shaun Noë (Douglass 1964-69) (pictured left) died on 18 August 2007 aged 56; Anthony Milburn (Bursarial Staff 1961-74) died on 20 October 2007 aged 81; Fr Michael Groarke (Douglass 1940-42) died on 7 February 2008 aged 83; Christopher Kyndt Senior (Junior House & Douglass 1962-68) died on 7 April 2008 aged 56; Leslie Skinner (Bursarial Staff 1987-2003) died on 3 June 2008 aged 70; Dr James Whitworth (Challoner 1942-45) died on 14 June 2008 aged 78. May they rest in peace.
The Edmundian 2007-2008
The 2007-2008 edition of The Edmundian magazine will be published in the early autumn. The circulation is approximately 1500 with copies going to all current students and their families, staff, former staff, governors, many Old Edmundians, local parishes and friends of the College.  University Challenge Quiz Night
On Saturday 19 April 2008, The Edmundian Association organised a quiz night based on the format of the popular University Challenge television programme. Held in the Douay Hall at the College. London Dinner 2008
The Association held its annual London Dinner at the Bonnington Hotel, Bloomsbury, London, on Friday 22 February 2008. The guest speaker was Squadron Leader Joanna D'Arcy MBChB MRCP RAF OE (Junior House, Margaret Pole & Douglass 1987-94). We now have some photos taken at the dinner.
