The Edmundian Directory

The Edmundian Directory is a comprehensive list of all students and teaching staff who have been at St Edmund's College since 1793, when the school was founded on its present site at Old Hall Green in Hertfordshire.

The first phase of the Directory, which comprises the most complete alphabetical list of Old Edmundians ever to be published, is now available online via the internet to members of The Edmundian Association.

The Directory includes:

  • Alphabetical list of Old Edmundians
  • Photograph gallery
  • E-mail addresses of subscribers (if thay have consented to make them public)

If you are a member and would like access to the Directory and the Members' Area of this site, please contact the General Secretary by using our online form.

About the Association

The Edmundian Association exists to maintain a bond between the College and its alumni. It has been doing so since 1853, and now has members throughout the world.

Membership of the Association is available to past students and parents of Old Edmundians, members of staff at the College, former members of staff, governors and friends of the College, and students in Rhetoric.

The Association will write to members when their period of membership has ended of if their subscription has lapsed to remind them that payment is due. Membership ceases if a subscription payment due is not received.

In addition to promoting many events, at the College and elsewhere, to which Old Edmundians (known as OEs) are invited, the Association makes regular donations to help finance projects for the benefit of existing students at St Edmund's. Newsletters are published twice yearly to help OEs keep in contact. The newsletter is also sent to current parents.

The organisation is run on an entirely voluntary basis by a committee representing a wide cross-section of OE interests. See above for details of how you can become a member.

If you can help the College in any other way, please contact the General Secretary.
